38th Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA’2012) and 15th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design (DSD’2012) will be held in Cesme Izmir. Çeşme is surrounded by the Aegean Sea in three sides at the very western end of Urla Peninsula and is neighbor of the Sakız (Chios) Island (Greece).

Arriving in Cesme is easy via land and air:

By land, there are two options: You can take the 90-km-long coastline road from İzmir to Çeşme or can take the 80-km-long modern Çeşme-İzmir highway by your private car or by taxi. Alternatively, you can easily get to Cesme by buses that departs from (İzmir) Işıkkent Bus Terminal or Üçkuyular Bus Terminal to Cesme at hourly basis.

By air, Cesme is accessible via Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport (ADB), which is well-connected with direct flights from many European cities and with frequent connecting flights from the main hub Istanbul.

How to reach the conference place

From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Cesme

Free shuttle service:

A free shuttle service will be organized from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to the conference hotel. (First day: 1 shuttle service, second day: 2 shuttle service and third day: 1 shuttle service).

Alternative solutions from the airport are:

You can use a private shuttle service directly to Cesme, which takes about 45 minutes and costs around 80-100 € per a 4-5 person vehicle. You can reserve a private shuttle service via e-mail to the euromicro2012@ii.metu.edu.tr.

You can get the bus number 202 (Cumhuriyet Meydanı-Havaalanı) to Üçkuyular Bus Terminal. The bus from airport to Üçkuyular Terminal is scheduled as hourly between 06:00-24:00 and as two-hourly between 24:00-06:00. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to reach Üçkuyular Terminal which costs around 15 € and takes about 20 minutes. There are also buses from Üçkuyular Bus Terminal to Cesme that depart at hourly basis.

CONFERENCE PLACE

The conference will be convened in Çeşme Altın Yunus (Golden Dolphin) Resort and Thermal Hotel which is the most famous holiday paradise hosting its guests best with gold beach, Turquoise Sea and magnificent landscape since 1974. Altın Yunus is the leading first class holiday village of Turkey and the Middle East with accommodation capacity of 1000 persons and is one of the largest (140,000 m2) hotels in Turkey. It is 3,5 km away from Çeşme, 4 km away from Alaçatı, at Boyalık Location, Kalem Cape.

Early reservation has been recommended since limited number of rooms has been reserved for the conference participants. Participants will also take advantage of the early reservation by indicating Euromicro Conference.
