Over the years, Euromicro SEAA conferences have reflected and represented the continuous changes in technology and application areas. The aim of the conference is to proceed with this, focusing on software engineering and new, innovative and advanced software applications.

SEAA 2012 PhD Symposium
Euromicro SEAA 2012 encourages the submission of technical research papers and experience reports. Papers must contain original unpublished work, describe significant novel contributions, and provide evidence on the validation of results. In particular, reports on industrial applications are welcome.
Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings, published by the Conference Publishing Services (CPS). The proceedings of the conference will be submitted to Xplore and CSDL.
Authors of the best papers (from all conference tracks and sessions except Software Management) will be invited to revise and submit extended versions of their papers for consideration for publication in the "Science of Computer Programming (SCICO), Elsevier" special issue.
Authors of the best papers in the Software Management track (and EsPreSSE Special Session) will be invited to revise and submit extended versions of their papers for publication in the International Journal of Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (IJSEKE).
For PhD students there will be a full-day doctoral symposium with feedback from senior experts in the SEAA community.
